Designed by Peddlethorp with interiors by Space Studio, The Pavilion at Pacific Lakes is the social heart of the retirement village. Set beside the lake, the building brings together hospitality, wellness and recreation, with generous outdoor terraces that encourage residents to connect with one another and enjoy the landscape throughout the day.
The architecture reflects a thoughtful approach to community and wellbeing, where the spaces between the building and the landscape are just as important as the rooms within. Natural materials, warm timber detailing and an enduring palette create an environment that feels calm, welcoming and made to be lived in.
DEVON’s Milford Sofas, Waiata Dining Chairs and custom-crafted teak dining tables were selected to complement this vision. Rather than defining the space, the furniture sits comfortably within it—supporting everyday rituals, from morning coffee to shared meals overlooking the water.
Built from natural materials and designed for longevity, each piece will weather gently alongside the architecture and landscape. Together, they create outdoor spaces that invite people to linger, fostering the sense of connection and belonging that sits at the heart of Pacific Lakes.
