Large pivoting glass doors open out from the pool house onto slabs of limestone, and natural timber decking leads you between palms and tropical plantings, to the pool and entertaining terrace.
From here, the infinity pool reflects the sky and blends into the endless ocean. Flanked by DEVON sun loungers and bar, we couldn’t think of a better place to enjoy a sundowner with sweeping views from the Māhia Peninsula to the iconic Cape Kidnappers.
From the flora to the furniture, everything had to be able to survive the exposed nature of the hilltop site. The limestone pavers, timber decking, corten steel fireplace, and DEVON teak furniture are all purposefully chosen to endure Aotearoa’s harsh and ever-changing weather conditions.
