Located on the historic grounds of the former Nobilo Estate winery in West Auckland, The Country Club Huapai is a thoughtfully considered retirement village that reimagines later living through a refined country club experience. Designed by Ignite Architects, the six-hectare development draws from the site’s vineyard heritage and semi-rural surroundings, balancing timeless architecture with generous communal spaces designed to encourage connection, wellbeing, and outdoor activity.
DEVON® was selected to furnish the outdoor living and dining spaces throughout the Country Club. Chosen for their understated forms, enduring materials, and ability to weather beautifully over time, our collections settle naturally into the surroundings. From shared dining terraces, communal lounge areas and spectator spots for the bowling and petanque, the furniture was curated to support moments of leisure, connection, and everyday comfort outdoors.
The result is an outdoor environment that feels warm, relaxed, and enduringly timeless. Designed to withstand New Zealand’s ever-changing conditions while softening gracefully with age, each piece contributes to a lifestyle centred around slowing down, gathering together, and feeling at home outdoors.
