As we enter DEVON’s 50th year, I’ve been reflecting on how we continue to grow while staying true to what has defined us for nearly five decades…
In November 2025, we acquired Coast New Zealand. Since then, we’ve been focused on thoughtfully bringing the two brands together behind the scenes.
For those unfamiliar, Coast is a premium New Zealand brand renowned for its outdoor beanbags, loungers and lifestyle pieces designed for relaxed outdoor living. The founders, Nicola & Alex Webster, built a strong and well-respected brand, and I’d like to sincerely acknowledge them for what they created. We’re proud to carry that legacy forward.
The decision to acquire Coast felt like a natural progression for DEVON®. Where DEVON® has long focused on structured, architectural outdoor furniture, Coast brings a softer, more relaxed layer to outdoor spaces. The two brands complement each other without overlapping.
Today, Coast remains its own brand, with its own identity and website. It now sits under the DEVON® umbrella, and Coast products are available to view in our Parnell showroom. Our focus is on strengthening both brands while preserving what makes each distinct.
As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary this year, this feels like the right evolution — building on our heritage while expanding our vision of outdoor living.
